Windows through Bootcamp on the same machine in the same location with the same setup, is fine. So no matter what I do, something will work shoddily.

For me, I don't have problem-free connectivity with the receiver OR bluetooth. Maybe it was a coincidence but that problem was driving me crazy, so thanks in any case.īonus: In case someone is new to mac like me and also has problems with mouse scrolling, this thread solved it for me: Install Mos app: Īt least for you it works fine fine using the dongle. Even putting both hubs close together with the mac, the problem is gone, so I don't know about any interference, maybe the mac hub simply don't play well with my mouse, but by using another hub as the middle man it works, go figure. I was connecting my mouse through an usb hub I received from work especifically to connect peripherals to the macbook usb-c port (mouse, keyboard, external monitor).Īfter reading this reply I though it was bullshit, but I tried to connect my mouse to another hub (one I personally already had) and then connect that hub to the mac hub, and it worked, that's crazy. I never had any problems like this with any windows pc before. I am having to use a macbook for work, and my Logitech G305 was having this tracking problem that only happened on mac. I wanted to reply here just in case someone else in the future has the same problem, this worked for me. Is this just a fundamental issue with macOS which means you should steer clear of Logitech mice for macOS? Is there a fix? If I were using windows, I would LOVE this mouse. Windows is fine with the receiver, all the time. This is only when using the wireless USB receiver. I can watch the lights on the mouse flash as it regains connection, and even see the connection status in LogiOptions go gray, and then light up again indicating a disconnection.

It will jump across the screen and lose connection for probably 2 seconds or so. However, when I use the USB universal wireless receiver, it works noticably better smoothness and latency-wise, but every so often, probably every ten seconds or so, the mouse will lose connection and reconnect, and as a result, LAG HORRIBLY.

The main solution that people say, is to use the USB Receiver instead. This, I have seen is a common issue, exclusive to macOS. When using bluetooth, the mouse is CONSTANTLY slightly jumpy. I have had some issues on and off with the mouse since I got it honestly, with my 2016 baseline MBP, way back with Mojave. I have had AWFUL issues as of late, which seem to be the opposite of everyone else I have seen. I have a MacBook Pro 2020 (Four thunderbolt ports) and a Logitech Triathlon 720, running macOS Big Sur 11.0.1.
